Free collection of bulky municipal waste
It’s time for spring cleaning and preparations for the upcoming touristic season. We hereby draw your attention to the fact that you have the right to request a FREE collection of bulky waste once a year from the location of the property by company Komunalno Hvar.
Also, bulky waste can be deposited daily, free of charge, at the location of the recycling yard (Ulica Antifašizma 33) in Hvar.
Bulky waste includes old furniture, large appliances, mattresses and other bulky waste. Often, such waste contains hazardous components that, if not properly disposed of, endanger human health and damage the environment.
We appeal to citizens not to leave waste next to waste meters and containers on public surfaces, along the road near landfills or in nature.
Let’s protect our Hvar and be an example in preserving the environment!
