Korčula is a historic town on the east coast of the island of Korčula. Among the most significant historical sights, the Gothic-Renaissance Cathedral of St. Mark, the town hall, and the massive city walls stand out. In the western part of the Korčula island, there is a little town of Vela Luka, located at the bottom of a deeply incised and spacious bay.
