In 2024, Hvar, Croatia’s coastal jewel, will host the first ever Spartan Sprint World Championship and the new format 100M World Championship, marrying thrilling sport with the island’s captivating beauty. Known for its vibrant culture, historic allure, and stunning scenery, Hvar is the perfect backdrop for this new format high-energy event. Here, athletes will challenge themselves in one of Europe’s most beloved destinations.

2024 Sprint & 100M Championship Weekend

This October, join Spartan in Hvar, Croatia, for a weekend of OCR, cultural immersion and a chance to etch yourself in Spartan history at the first ever Championship for the Sprint 5K & 100M distances.

Embark on a journey through various swims, challenging floating obstacles, and a climb to the iconic fortress. The race includes technical running on rocky shores, stunning beaches, and 30% city running, integrating the event seamlessly into the small city offering a unique immersive experience in Hvar’s beauty.

  • Sprint 5K WC (Saturday, Oct 12)
  • 100M WC (Friday-Sunday, Oct 11-13)

Also on show:
Besides the WC heats, there will be Super & Kids heats Saturday and Sunday.
