Hvar summer festival is one of the oldest summer festivals on the Adriatic coast and islands. Special attention is paid to the preservation of Hvar and Croatian heritage, while an important part of the program is the performance of Dalmatian klapa and UNESCO-protected and promoted klapa singing.
It has been held continuously since 1961 and offers a rich cultural program at historical locations in Hvar.
