FILIP PAVIĆ was born in 1991 in Zagreb, and he started playing the guitar at the age of 11. In 2011, he enrolled in Jazz guitar studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz in the class of Professor Guido Jeszenszko. After moving to Graz, Filip has the opportunity to work with many top musicians and bands, such as Jim Rotondi, Renato Chicco, Michael Abene, Klemens Marktl and others. In 2019, he finished his master’s studies in jazz guitar in Graz, and at the same time he is becoming more and more in demand on the Croatian music scene, so, in addition to top jazz musicians, he regularly collaborates with musicians of other genres (Lucija Ćustić – Luce, Nina Romić, J.R. August…). Filip is a three-time winner of the Status award, which is awarded by the Croatian Music Union – in 2019 for the Young Hope of Jazz Music and in 2020 and 2023 for the best jazz guitarist. In October 2019, Croatia Records released his first self-titled album “Terra Incognita”, with special guest Matija Dedić. 30.9.2022. Pavić released his second author’s album “Labyrinth Songs”, for which he was nominated for the prestigious music awards Porin and Rock&Off.
NIKOLA ŠANTEK, excellent jazz pianist from Zagreb. From an early age, he received a classical education and subsequently graduated from the Gustav Mahler Privatuniversitat fur Musik, at the music conservatory in Klagenfurt, department of jazz piano. As a studio musician and performer, he collaborates with numerous musicians in jazz and popular music and actively performs in Croatia and the region. He won the “Papandopulo” award as part of the first Croatian competition in the category of jazz music. After completing his studies, he returns to Croatia, where he actively performs and collaborates with many Croatian and international musicians.
