On 24 July 2026, the Brusje Community Hall will host Ženici, a compelling tragicomedy by renowned Croatian actor and playwright Ilija Zovko.
The story follows Jure and Ivo, two strong-willed men from the Dalmatian hinterland whose journey to a wedding takes an unexpected turn after a car accident on a remote road. Forced to wait together for help, they gradually reveal their life stories, family relationships and long-hidden truths.
Blending humour, sharp dialogue and unexpected twists, Ženici explores friendship, pride, family and reconciliation through a series of engaging and often hilarious situations.
The performance is presented by Kazališna družina Ritam Igre, starring Davor Pavić and Pere Eranović. The play is directed by Pere Eranović and Ivan Baranović.
