FUNK SHUI is an eclectic music collective from North Macedonia that continuously explores new forms of musical expression. From their debut album Aether (2012), through R.E.M. (2015) and the EP Impuls (2018), to their latest album Nikogash Pak (2023), the band has consistently developed a distinctive, emotional, and genre-diverse sound.
Their work has been recognized across Europe, and they have performed at prestigious festivals and conferences such as Eurosonic ESNS, MENT Ljubljana, Athens Music Week, PIN Music Conference, and Liverpool Sound City. They achieved particular success with the single “Meteori,” which was voted Single of the Year 2020 by the audience of the Balkanrock portal.
The album Nikogash Pak features some of their best-known songs, including “Meteori,” “Veter,” “Ne Vreme,” and “Krik,” and its release was marked by two sold-out concert nights in Skopje. FUNK SHUI have been nominated for the HEMI Music Awards (2021 and 2023) and INES Talents (2021 and 2022), and they tour extensively throughout Europe and the Balkans.
With powerful live performances and a constant drive for innovation, FUNK SHUI are establishing themselves as one of the most exciting names on the new European music scene.
