Ura s klapon: Klapa Pharia | Traditional Klapa Singing in Hvar

As part of the Ura s klapon programme, Klapa Pharia will perform at Veli đardin on Wednesday, 16 September.

Dedicated to traditional klapa singing, the programme brings another evening of vocal harmonies and Dalmatian musical tradition. In the relaxed setting of Veli đardin, Klapa Pharia will present a repertoire that celebrates the authentic klapa sound and the tradition of singing together.

Klapa singing has been part of Dalmatia’s cultural identity for generations, and its significance has also been recognised internationally. Since 2012, it has been inscribed on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
