Open Water Swimming Event – Stari Grad to Hvar

Welcome to the sunniest island in Europe and an ideal start to the open water swimming season in the Northern Hemisphere.

This racecourse connects two historic towns on the island of Hvar, starting in Stari Grad and finishing in Hvar Town. Swimmers will follow a scenic route through crystal-clear Adriatic waters, passing hidden bays and beautiful islands that showcase the natural and cultural richness of the Croatian coast.

Both above and below the waterline, the landscape offers an exceptional swimming experience in one of the Mediterranean’s most striking marine environments.

Water temperatures during the event are expected to range between 19 and 21°C, providing comfortable and reliable conditions for open water swimming.
