Tour de Hvar is an inspiring trail running event set on Hvar Island, one of the sunniest destinations in the Mediterranean. From 1 May to 3 May 2026, runners from around the world gather to tackle varied and scenic terrain that showcases the natural beauty, cultural heritage, and diverse landscapes of this historic Croatian island.
Hvar’s unique setting combines rugged mountain trails, lush vineyards, fragrant olive groves, ancient pine forests, and panoramic views of the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea. Participants experience routes that wind past historic ruins and medieval fortresses, offering a memorable connection to Hvar’s rich past.

A special highlight of the event is the free kids’ race, held on Friday, 1 May at 18:30 in the town of Hvar. Designed for children up to 14 years old, this non-competitive race focuses on fun, participation, and encouraging a love for movement. Young runners can choose between 500 m and 1000 m distances, making it a perfect introduction to trail running in a safe and inspiring environment.
