One of the most distinctive and influential artists of the regional music scene, Rambo Amadeus, will perform in Hvar as part of the Hvar Summer Festival.

Antonije Pušić, better known as Rambo Amadeus, is a musician, poet, composer, satirist, social commentator and innovator whose unique artistic expression has shaped the Balkan music scene for decades.

His songs blend a wide variety of musical genres, while his witty and satirical lyrics offer sharp observations and critiques of contemporary society and its contradictions.

Born in Kotor and raised in Herceg Novi, he now lives and works in Belgrade. Throughout his extensive career, he has released numerous studio and live albums, composed music for theatre productions and films, and collaborated with artists across different genres and disciplines.

Among his notable projects are the music for Fritz Lang’s silent film “Metropolis”, performed with musicians of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, and the opera “Passion According to Stella”, premiered at the Kotor Art festival in 2019.

Rambo Amadeus is also widely recognized for his commitment to ecology and sustainable living. He is the creator of a solar-powered sailing boat project and actively promotes renewable energy solutions.

His performances combine music, improvisation, humour and social satire, creating a unique concert experience that continues to captivate audiences across the region.
