This year’s series of klapa performances in Veli đardin comes to a close with Klapa Frecija and the distinctive vocal harmonies of traditional Dalmatian klapa singing.

Klapa singing is an important part of Dalmatia’s musical tradition and was inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2012.

Throughout the season, Ura s klapon brings traditional klapa singing into the heart of the town, giving both locals and visitors an opportunity to experience this distinctive part of Dalmatian musical heritage.
