The Hvar Town Tourist Board presented the island of Hvar in London at a Croatian Statehood Day reception, strengthening visibility in the UK tourism market.

The island of Hvar was presented in London at a reception marking Croatian Statehood Day, held at the prestigious Royal Air Force Club and organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Croatia in the United Kingdom.

At the invitation of the British-Croatian Business Club, the Hvar Town Tourist Board introduced Hvar to guests from the diplomatic corps, business community and public life as one of Croatia’s most recognisable destinations.

Hvar was presented as an island of rich cultural heritage, outstanding gastronomy, authentic local products, exceptional wines, lavender and a distinctive Mediterranean lifestyle. To extend the Hvar experience beyond the event, guests received a selection of products from Hvar producers.

The United Kingdom remains one of the most important tourism markets for Hvar. Events such as this further strengthen the island’s visibility among British travellers, partners, media and the business community, while opening new opportunities for collaboration and destination promotion.
