The Hvar Choir invites residents and visitors to a special concert at Hvar Theatre on wednesday , June 3, 2026, at 8:30 PM.
Founded in 1947 as the Hvar Town Mixed Choir within the local cultural society Dr. Orest Žunković, the choir has played an important role in Hvar’s cultural life for more than seven decades. Throughout its long history, it has performed at numerous concerts and cultural events in Croatia and abroad.
Concert Programme
The audience can look forward to a selection of traditional Dalmatian, klapa and sacred songs that celebrate and preserve the rich musical heritage of the island of Hvar.
The choir is led by Professor Anna Sansović, whose expertise and dedication continue to maintain high artistic standards while preserving the island’s musical traditions.
Special guest performer: Vini Zaninović.
