Teatar Gavran is coming to the island with a comedy that reveals what happens when love relationships get complicated to the extreme!
The play “Zabranjeno smijanje” will be performed in Milna, at the Copa Kopanja playground, on Friday, July 11, starting at 9:00 PM – just as the sun sets and the stage comes alive.
This humorous theatrical story takes us through unexpected entanglements between a husband, wife, and lover, whose destinies become so intertwined that they no longer know whether it is easier for them to be together or apart. In this love triangle, nothing is as it seems, and each scene brings a new surprise.
The plot is set in our modern times, and through comic situations, the weaknesses and virtues of the characters are revealed as they try to find meaning – and happiness – in the chaos of their relationships. Fate inexorably slips out of their control, and the audience enjoys a ride full of twists, humor, and recognizable moments from everyday life.
The author of the play is Miro Gavran, winner of the Marin Držić Award for this comedy, which was awarded by the Ministry of Culture in 2024.
“Forbidden Laughter” has so far experienced 13 premieres around the world, and now you have the opportunity to see it in Milna.
Admission is free, and laughter is guaranteed.
