As part of the Hvar Summer Festival, artist Danka Milinović will present a solo exhibition entitled “From the bottom of my heart sea”, which opens on Monday, July 21, 2025, at 9:00 PM at the Arsenal Gallery.
This suggestive exhibition brings a painterly interpretation of everyday island life – seen and experienced through the author’s personal prism. The sea, light, the rhythm of the island and the silence of space are translated into expressive brushstrokes, in which inner landscapes and external impressions are intertwined.
For Danka Milinović, painting is a deeply emotional process. Her art does not seek simple answers, but invites honest dialogue, personal reflection and a silent encounter with one’s own experience of what is seen.
