Klapa Pharia brings the authentic sound of Dalmatia to Hvar

On Wednesday, 24 June 2026, starting at 7:15 PM, Veli Đardin in Hvar Town will come alive with the sounds of traditional Dalmatian klapa singing. As part of the “An Hour with Klapa” programme, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a performance by Klapa Pharia, renowned for preserving authentic Dalmatian musical heritage and delivering heartfelt interpretations inspired by the traditions of Hvar and the Dalmatian coast.

The “An Hour with Klapa” programme takes place every Wednesday from May to October, offering residents and visitors a regular series of evenings dedicated to klapa singing, local traditions and the Mediterranean way of life. This week, Klapa Pharia will lead audiences on a musical journey through the rich harmonies of Dalmatia.

Visitors can look forward to an evening filled with traditional songs, rich vocal harmonies and the unmistakable atmosphere of the Mediterranean. Klapa singing, inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2012, is one of the most cherished symbols of Dalmatian cultural identity.
