Klapa singing is one of Dalmatia’s most distinctive cultural traditions and has been inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity since 2012.
Klapa Pharia preserves the rich tradition of Dalmatian a cappella singing, performing songs that have been an essential part of Hvar’s cultural identity for generations.
Held every Wednesday during the summer, the Ura s klapon programme offers visitors the opportunity to experience one of Dalmatia’s most treasured musical traditions in the relaxed setting of Veli đardin, right in the heart of Hvar.
