Faroski Kantaduri Bring the Authentic Sound of Dalmatia to Hvar

As part of the “Ura s klapon” (An Hour with Klapa) programme, on Wednesday, 08 July 2026, starting at 8:00 PM, the charming setting of Veli Đardin in Hvar Town will host a performance by Faroski Kantaduri, renowned for preserving authentic Dalmatian singing and for their rich, heartfelt interpretations of the musical heritage of Hvar Island and Dalmatia.

The “Ura s klapon” programme will take place every Wednesday from May through October, offering a continuous series of evenings dedicated to klapa singing and Dalmatian tradition. This week, the programme will feature a performance by Faroski Kantaduri.

Visitors can look forward to an evening filled with beautiful multipart harmonies, traditional melodies, and the unmistakable atmosphere of the Mediterranean. Since 2012, klapa singing has been inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, making it one of the most significant symbols of Dalmatia’s cultural identity.
